| Last night at the BSM, we were asked to write down a time when we truely saw the Lord...
After writing down my ''answer" I sat back and wondered of all the many opprotunities I have had to see the Lord an because I am so wrapped up in myself and everything else BUT the Lord, I miss His face...let's face it, we are all pretty selfish people and as Chris said last night, God is sitting at the foot of our lives wanting to whisper in our ears, "Hey! I'm home...tell me about your day....tell me what's on your mind...I LOVE YOU"
It doesn't get much better than that

So,
I read that just about an hour before we left for FOCUS on Friday and
it's amazing how God works...for the past couple of months, I've been
in constant prayer for a friend of mine. After reading that and then
going to Focus this weekend, I realized that I CAN'T control the way
anyone else responds to God...The only thing I can do is to continue to
pray for my friends and trust that God will work in each of their lives
on HIS time NOT MINE
So yeah, the weekend was amazing...I'm still trying to collect all of my thoughts

| So, Welcome Week has begun and it's gotten off to a great start....had a wonderful time hangin' out at the Lodge yesterday and really enjoyed the "break" I got from being outside when I decided to help some friends move into their dorm...
BSM dinner was fun....definitely experienced the most awkward moment EVER while I was there but it was hillarious
School starts Monday....not so fun...gotta go buy books today....also not so fun
